Entries for the

Groot Marico Rotary MTB Race

on 30 July 2016 are now open.

Groot Marico is situated on the Groot Marico River in the North West Province, only 2 hours drive from Johannesburg, Pretoria and the Kosh area. Here is an excellent mountain bike route that offers a variety of challenges in the 60km and 50km routes, while the 20km and 5km routes are more suitable for fun ride.

The venue is at the HC Bosman Living Museum next to the NG Church in Kerkstraat.

Registration is on the Friday evening 29 July from 6pm to 8pm and on the Saturday morning, the 30^th July, from 7am. Online entries can be done on www.entrytime.com.

The distances and entry fees:   60km – R160 50km – R160 40km – R110 20km – R110 5km – R60 (children under 12 years can do a line entry as they ride free of charge on the 5km).   Starting times:   60km – 09:00 50km – 09:10 40km – 09:20 20km – 09:30 5km – 09:40

The proceeds of this race contributes towards community projects in Groot Marico. During the day there will be traditional fare like roosterkoek and potjiekos, as well as coffee on the fire.
